Put simply, our skin can be compared to a house. If the roof is poorly built and cannot guarantee protection from external aggressions, everyone inside is exposed to stress and vulnerable.
We know that by perfecting the surface we help the skin recover more harmoniously, creating a platform for youth and a healthy glow. This method of observing how the epidermis interacts with the deepest layers of the skin is called “interface cosmetology”. It helps us understand how the active ingredients in cosmetic products affect the skin from the very first contact with the epidermis, without needing to penetrate the surface layer.
We have not one but several skins. Our Skin Condition changes several times in a single day, as well as over the course of our lives. Every person has a different “Skin Condition” that evolves within a single day.
The Biologique Recherche method works on the epidermis while accounting for the impact of all external and internal factors. That is why we always speak of the Skin Instant®. It is what determines the choice of products during a treatment.
Cosmetic Products
Biologique Recherche products are formulated for professional cosmetic treatments and home care for face, body and hair.
Most products are created on the basis of active ingredients of botanical, marine and animal origin, of the highest quality and in maximum concentration — namely 20–80%.
The company's researchers constantly pursue scientific innovation, developing new formulas and refining the formulas of established Biologique Recherche products. The products are developed in the company's own laboratory— the Research & Development department in Suresnes, France — and 90% of them are produced in the Biologique Recherche laboratory founded by Yvan Allouche.
Our Methodology
Analysis of your skin's specific needs
Before your treatment, the Biologique Recherche expert performs an in-depth dermo-cosmetic diagnosis to precisely determine your skin condition — your Skin Instant©. This diagnosis is carried out through visual analysis and a questionnaire, to create a treatment protocol that matches your needs exactly.
In 2022 Biologique Recherche took diagnosis to another level by launching My Beauty DNA*: a precise analysis of your genome, so you can better understand your genetic predispositions and personalize your skincare protocol accordingly.
Preparing and balancing the epidermis
The treatment protocol begins with an individualized preparation of your epidermis — the outermost shield that protects you from the aggressions of the outside world. It follows a precise and rigorous ritual based on:
- Deep cleansing of the skin combined with massage
- Preparing the skin using the brand's iconic Lotion P50, followed by the application of a face mask
Targeting each concern and treating it in depth
This stage uses the products with the highest concentration of active ingredients, to “recondition” the epidermis and help increase its potential for self-regeneration.
Applied in line with the Biologique Recherche methodology, they balance, hydrate and revitalize the epidermis as required for each skin condition — Skin Instant©. The active ingredients work gradually, the quality of the skin improves and the complexion becomes radiant.
